The University of Stuttgart is a state university in Stuttgart and maintains an interdisciplinary profile with a focus on engineering, natural sciences, humanities and social sciences. This ‘Stuttgart Way’ is the guiding principle of the networked disciplines that characterises the University of Stuttgart's special profile and has become one of its trademarks. It is divided into ten faculties and 150 institutes. The High Performance Computing centre is part of the Stuttgart University, where the WindLab will be hosted.
